PTW Minneapolis, MN 8/29/2015

 Chris Jordan pinned Road House Ross in the first contest of the night.
 Kody Rice defeated The Executioner.
PTW tag team champions Body Beautiful (Mitch Paradie (Mitch is the one with the bald head) & Billy Blaze) VS Estonian Farmer Frog & Wildcat ended in a double count out.
Ariya Daivari defeated Big Sepp.
Black Stallion defeated Aaron Corbin to earn a shot at the PTW championship.
The next PTW event is Friday, September 25th at the Knights of Columbus in Bloomington, MN. Then the next night PTW is back at Calhoun Square for the last free outdoor event of the summer.

Mallaki Mathews defeated Darin Corbin in a no DQ match.

MIW Chanhassen, MN 8/1/2015

MIW VS NWPW for the American Legion contract.

In the first match of the afternoon Dr. Darrin Davis pinned PJ Thorn. This match was not part of the MIW VS NWPW contest.
 Chris Jordan (NWPW) VS JD Bandit (MIW) ended in a no contest. This was the first match in the best of 5 series for the Chanhassen contract.
 James "Moose" Thomas (MIW) defeated The Masked Jungle Fighter (NWPW). The MJF looks a little thinner these days. MIW 1 NWPW 0
Joseph "Stonehenge" Wayne with manager Rob Page (NWPW) defeated El Bano (MIW). MIW 1 NWPW 1
The third match was scheduled to be Pete Huge VS Scott Story but because of how the Chris  Jordan/JD Bandit match ended this match turned into a tag team match. The Junk Squad (Huge & Jordan) (NWPW)defeated Story & Bandit (MIW) to retain the tag team title. MIW 1 NWPW 2
Mitch Paradise pinned MIW champion Black Stallion. MIW 2 MWPW 2
The new MIW champion Mitch Paradise.
Because the series was tied at 2 wins each 10 man elimination tag team match was held to decide the winner. Team MIW won the match to renew their contract with the Chanhassen American Legion for another season. The first MIW event of the season is 9/12/15.

Next event for PTW is Saturday August 22, 2015 next to Calhoun Square. It's a free show.
Tommaso Ciampa pinned Ariya Daivari.
Tyler Colton defeated Kody Rice.
PTW Calhoun champion Danny Duggan defeated Ricky Love to retain the title.
Ricky Love had to wave good bye to the fans in MN. In order to get a shot at the PTW Calhoun championship he said he would never wrestle in MN again if he lost. Sad to see Love leave the state.
Travis Cole pinned Scott Story.
DOUG defeated Billy Blaze by DQ when Blaze hit DOUG with a title belt.
Zero Gravity (with out their masks! Brett Gakiya & CJ Esparza defeated The Estonian Farmer Frog & Wildcat to earn a shot at the PTW tag team title.

Darin Corbin pinned The Estonain Farmer Frog.
Charlie Midnight pinned Judd "Awesomesauce" Jennrich. 
Venom defeated Boardman. Venom faked a knee injury to ref Rob Page then sucker punched Boardman. 
Venom's big splash just isn't as impressive as it used to be. 
Kody Rice defeated BCW Twin Cities Champion Officer Rob Justice.
Kody Rice is the new BCW Twin Cities Champion.
 Rob James tamed the Angry Dragon.
 BCW heavy weight champion Ryan Cruz pinned The Prophet to retain the title.

IPW/HoF Waterloo, IA 7/10/15

 This was the annual IPW George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame event. The 2015 class included (painted below top left to right, bottom left to right) Greg Wojciechowski and Jim Landos, Beth Phoenix (Frank Gotch award), B. Brian Blair (Lou Thesz award), Matt Lindland (George Tragos award) and Wade Keller (Jim Melby award).
 At 4 pm in the Dan Gable International Wrestling Museum Kurt Angle was presented with two rings in honor of his amateur wrestling championships. Angle was inducted into the Tragos/Thesz hall of fame a few years ago but was unable to show up in Waterloo. While at the museum Angle added his signature to the "Mat of Honor".
The first match of the night was the annual Lou Thesz Cup Memorial Battle Royal.
 Sparrow and James Jefferies were the last two men in the battle royal. With a little help from his partner, Sparrow was able to toss Jefferies over the top rope to get the victory.
Ryan Slade pinned Bobby Fonta.
 Latin Thunder & U Gene defeated Nate Redwing & Jake Dirden.
 Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana pinned Bob Holly.
IPW Vault champion Marshall Scott pinned Nicky Free to retain the title.
 B Brian Blair, Ugly & James Jefferies defeated Matty Starr, Sparrow & Aaron Von Baron in a 6 man tag match. Blair pinned Starr for the 3 count.
 Wes Brisco defeated AJ Smooth by tap out in a legends lumberjack Match.
 At the end of the match Wes Brisco celebrated in the ring with JJ Dillon, Jerry Brisco and Baron Von Raschke.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you are a pro wrestling fan in the Midwest you should make your way to Waterloo to check out the museum. The best time to do that is during the Hall of Fame weekend. Check out the museum's web site for info on next years event. http://nwhof.org/waterloo/
