 This was the annual IPW George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame event. The 2015 class included (painted below top left to right, bottom left to right) Greg Wojciechowski and Jim Landos, Beth Phoenix (Frank Gotch award), B. Brian Blair (Lou Thesz award), Matt Lindland (George Tragos award) and Wade Keller (Jim Melby award).

 At 4 pm in the Dan Gable International Wrestling Museum Kurt Angle was presented with two rings in honor of his amateur wrestling championships. Angle was inducted into the Tragos/Thesz hall of fame a few years ago but was unable to show up in Waterloo. While at the museum Angle added his signature to the "Mat of Honor".

The first match of the night was the annual Lou Thesz Cup Memorial Battle Royal.

 Sparrow and James Jefferies were the last two men in the battle royal. With a little help from his partner, Sparrow was able to toss Jefferies over the top rope to get the victory.

Ryan Slade pinned Bobby Fonta.

 Latin Thunder & U Gene defeated Nate Redwing & Jake Dirden.

 Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana pinned Bob Holly.

IPW Vault champion Marshall Scott pinned Nicky Free to retain the title.

 B Brian Blair, Ugly & James Jefferies defeated Matty Starr, Sparrow & Aaron Von Baron in a 6 man tag match. Blair pinned Starr for the 3 count.

 Wes Brisco defeated AJ Smooth by tap out in a legends lumberjack Match.

 At the end of the match Wes Brisco celebrated in the ring with JJ Dillon, Jerry Brisco and Baron Von Raschke.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you are a pro wrestling fan in the Midwest you should make your way to Waterloo to check out the museum. It was a beautiful night in northern Wisconsin for an outdoor event.

 The night started out with guest general manager Booker T coming out to the ring to welcome the HOW Universe. He was joined in the ring by HOW champion Ariya Daivari.

 "Miss Natural" Heather Patera pinned Josie (AKA Sojo Bolt) with her feet on the ropes. This was the first time these two have been in the ring together in 10 years.

 Darin Corbin defeated Scot Summers and Stevie Richards in a 3 way match to become the number 1 contender for the HOW championship.

 Roddy Piper had Jake "The Snake" Roberts as his guest for Pipers Pit. Mitch Paradise came out to claim that fans love his Paradise's Pit. The interview ended with Roberts giving Paradise the DDT.

Sean "X-Pac" Waltman & Craven Knyte defeated Benjamin Sailer & Arik Cannon.

Rick & Scott Stiener defeated John Johnson & Black Stallion.

 Luke Hawx defeated Hardcore Bob Holly in a no DQ falls count anywhere match.

 Lance Hoyt pinned Ariya Daivari in a 3 way championship match that included Trevor Murdock.

New Heavy On Wrestling champion Lance Hoyt.

Black Stallion pinned Benjamin Sailer.

The Kingz of the Underground (Scot Summers & Ryan Genesis) defeated The Barking Spiders (Clutch & Ox).

Trevor Murdoch pinned Mitch Paradise.

Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake & Dan Jesser beat John Johnson & Johnny Parks by DQ.

 Luke Hawx VS Bob "Hardcore" Holly ended in a double count out.

AWF Isanti, MN 4/4/2009

The American Wrestling Federation returned to the Isanti Civic Center for the second year in a row to benifit the Isanti high school baseball team.

In the opening match Mikey Stanley won by DQ over Aaron Corbin. Stanley had the upper hand when Brody Hoofer came out and attacked him. As Corbin and Hoofer beat the crap out of Stanley the O'Neill twins came to the ring to chase them off. This set up a tag team match for later in the card.

Lenny Lane defeated Sammy Savard by DQ. Savard got the pin on Lane but when referee Jay Soltis raised Savards hand a brass knuckles dropped from his armpit. Seeing the illegal object Soltis reversed his decision and awarded the match to Lane.

Thoruf Marius defeated The Black Stallion after a somoan drop.

Cody & Cory O'Neill defeated Aaron Corbin & Brody Hoofer. This was announced as the last time that the O'Neill twins will tag together as Cody is retiring.

Tony DeNucci defeated Udo. This was Udo's first match in the AWF and DeNucci welcomed him with some brutal chops that left their marks on Udo's chest.

Former WWE hardcore and tag team Champion Bob Holly defeated Mitch Paradise. Holly got the win after giving Paradise the alabama slam.
