 JJ Garrett defeated PWB new comer Danny Adams.

 PWB Breakout champion Luther Wilson III pinned Officer Rob Justice.

 The Prophet defeated PWB new comers Austin Blackburn and Everett Connors in a 3 way match.

Paco Gonzalez defeated PWB new comer Harvey Bower.

 Rob James pinned Arik Cannon after hitting him with a loaded fanny pack.



















Before the match James told the crowd that it was his birthday. It really was a special day for James. At noon he and some friends ran the Wipeout Run. After that he wrestled Cannon at the AWF event in Coon Rapids, MN. Then at PWB he wrestled Cannon for the 100th time! Ok, I'm not sure if these two have wrestled each other 100 times but I'm sure if you look through the 10 years of this blog you many matches between these two.

PWB champion Ryan Cruz pinned Mallaki Matthews to retain the title.

Referee Rob Page holding the F1RST Wrestling WRESTLEPALOOZA tag team belts that would be on the line in the main event as announcer John Maddening looks on.

What Tyrants opened up the event with a 15 minute set.

Kody Rice VS El Chivas Blanco was the first match.

Ruff Crossing interrupted the first match. He was followed by Yabo the clown so the singles match turned into a 4 way match. Yabo got the win.

Mona Montague danced dressed as Darth Vader.

Weedman defeated Officer Rob Justice.

Hip hop artist Mike Mictlan from Doom Tree took the stage for a few songs.

Arik Cannon pinned Wrestlepalooza champion Ariya Daivari. After the match Daivari announced that the match was not for the title so he is still the champ.

Queenie Von Curves & Sweetpea danced as Mario & Luigi.

"Playboy" Pete Huge defeated Wildcat.

Northstar Express (Ryan Cruz & Darin Corbin) defeated Zero Gravity.

Ryan Cruz & Darin Corbin became the first WRESTLEPALOOZA tag team champions.

JJ Garrett defeated Scott Story.

 Luther Wilson III defeated The Mad Russian and PWB Breakout champion The Prophet in a 3 way match.

 The Prophet handed over the title to the new PWB Breakout champion, Luther Wilson III.

 Mallaki Mathews pinned Kody Rice.

 Paco Gonzalez defeated Gunner Franks.

Matt Cage and Christian Rose wrestle a 2 out of 3 falls match. Cage won the first fall with a back slide pin.

 Christian Rose won the second fall when Matt Cage could not make it back in the ring before the 10 count.

 Matt Cage won the final fall over Christian Rose.

In the main event team AC/DC ( Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin) defeated Rob James & Venom. At the beginning of the match Venom hurt his knee and had to be helped back to the dressing room. I wish Venom a speedy recovery from his injury.

Wildcat defeated The Prophet.

 Rob James pinned DOUG.

PTW tag team champions Billy Blaze & Mitch Paradise defeated Big Sepp & Black Stallion to retain the titles.

Body Beautiful had a some new merchandise available at this event. They used one of my posed photos of them on a sticker. They really got the "Shut Your Mouth" phrase over in their promo before their match.

 

 Chris Jordan pinned Scott Story.

 PTW champion Darin Corbin pinned Ricky Love to retain the title. This was scheduled to be a 3 way match with Ariya Daivari but Daivari was injured.

PTW/Calhoun Wrestling Minneapolis, MN 5/23/15

PTW held their first free outdoor Calhoun Wrestling event of the season. These events will take place on the 4th Saturday of the month until September.

 The Estonian Farmer Frog defeated Travis Cole in the opening match.

Kody Rice pinned Rough House Ross.

 PTW tag team champions Mitch Paradise & Billy Blaze defeated JD Bandit & Scott Story.

 

The Giant pinned both DOUG & The Estonian Farmer Frog in a handicap match.

At the last PTW event in Bloomington, MN it was announced that PTW champion Darin Corbin would be also be the Calhoun Wrestling champion. Danny Duggan challenged Corbin for the Calhoun Wrestling title for the main event. Duggan pinned Corbin to win the title.

Danny Duggan is the new Calhoun Wrestling champion.

This Saturday! Prime Time Wrestling in Uptown.

Prime Time Wrestling will be hosting free outdoor events at Calhoun Square in Uptown Minneapolis, MN. These events will take place 5/23, 6/27, 7/25, 8/22 and 9/26.

MIW Chanhassen, MN 5/16/15

Season Finale

El Bano defeated Ryan Cruz.

 James Dawson pinned Dr. Darin Davis after a low blow.

 MIW tag team champions The Junk Squad (Chris Jordan & Pete Huge) with manager Rob Page defeated Scott Story & JD Bandit to retain the titles.

 Rock Solid Ross pinned Aaron Corbin. After the match Corbin argued with referee Sierra Mist. Mist had enough of Corbin and slapped him.

 Black Stallion pinned MIW champion Mitch Paradise.

Black Stallion is the new MIW heavy weight champion. Stallion represents North Woods Pro Wrestling and he wanted to take over the Chanhassen American Legion from MIW. The Junk Squad (Chris Jordan, Pete Huge & Rob Page) joined NWPW after the match. Mitch Paradise challenged Stallion to a match at the next American Legion event on Saturday August 1, 2015. This will be an outdoor event.

BCW Big Lake, MN 5/8/2015

I was at my daughter's softball game this night so I missed the first half of the card and got to the venue at intermission.
In the battle of the Frog VS the Bathroom the Estonian Farmer Frog defeated El Bano.

 Ryan Cruz defeated BCW champion Rob James.

Ryan Cruz is the new BCW champion!

 Officer Rob Justice battled Venom for the BCW Twin Cites title in a no DQ match.

 Officer Rob Justice is the new BCW Twin Cites champion.
